Can I special order and how long does that take?

Yes. With over 300 items on the floor, 80% of our business is still special order because there are just so many choices. Special order time is usually about 8-10 weeks except for Ekornes Stressless Chairs which can often have a 2-3 week delivery time if it is a stock color and style.

What color leathers can I get this in?

Some of our manufacturers have over 150 different colors to choose from. There may be 20 different reds, 25 different blues etc. and all of them come in a variety of leather finishes.

What about leather with pets and kids?

Leather is an ideal choice if you have pets and kids! It is much more durable than fabric. Many of the finer quality leathers like the ones we carry are treated in the tanning process so that they are protected and easy to clean. If there is a spot or spill you just take a damp cloth and wipe it up.

How long will this last me?

Quality leather furniture should last you 25 years or more. Some people will keep it for 40 years!  Many of these pieces are passed on as an heirloom. Low end leather furniture often has to be replaced in 2-5 years. Make sure you know what you are buying.

Do I need to be careful of the sunlight with leather?

Sunlight will eventually fade anything but there are “protected” leathers that will not fade as quickly as some “natural” leathers. If this is a concern we will help direct you towards the leather that is right for you.

Does price determine how good the quality is?

Unfortunately price doesn’t always indicate the quality. Many stores overcharge for the cheap stuff or “low end.”  Some people buy low end recliners with leather seats and backs and vinyl sides for $1100 - $1500 and think they bought a “gem.” Not only would Currier’s not allow that type of product into our store but we have “high end” or quality brand name recliners starting at $900 and up that are all top grain leather, hard wood frames, block and doweled corners and have a much better mechanism. How can you afford to price like this?

Bottom line…we’re not greedy! Instead of making $400 on an item we would prefer to make $200 and sell it six times. This simple philosophy has kept us in business for over 25 years and is the reason people drive from all over New England to buy here.

Do you carry $4000 sofas?

Yes. We just price them at $2,200 EVERYDAY instead of putting them on sale at $2,899 -$3,299 like other stores.

How do you compare to other stores?

We don’t. Stores that carry the quality we do are much higher in price. Stores that have prices like ours usually carry lower quality furniture.  Don’t compare us to other stores. Compare them to us.

Why shouldn’t people shop here?
